A £14 million alpine-themed waterpark will open in Scarborough on July 28.
Alpamare Scarborough, boasts exclusively designed, waterslides, which are some of the UK’s longest and fastest, giant indoor wave pool that erupts every 30 minutes with metre high waves, outdoor garden pool and indulgent iodine infinity pool with massage jets, whirlpools and bubble benches - both heated to 35 degreees.
There is also a terrace overlooking Scarborough’s coastline and landscaped gardens with sunbeds, pool bar and restaurant.
Following within months of opening will be a luxury European Thermal Spa, set to open in early 2017.
Dr Anton Hoefter, Alpamare Chief Executive Officer said: "The announcement about when we will be open for business is a great milestone in the development of our world class waterpark. Yorkshire is a truly amazing county and we’re confident that we are delivering a truly amazing, all year round attraction for the county and the UK to be proud of. We’re now on countdown to July 28and we really can’t wait to welcome our first visitors through the doors.”
