POLICE have named the three people killed in a crash on a North Yorkshire road.
Konrad Bartczak, 18, was a front seat passenger in a Ford Focus driven by his mother Iwona Bartczak, 40, which crashed on the B1248 on Tuesday, November 26. Rysard Orlowski, 47, was a rear seat passenger and was also killed in the crash, with a Citroen van on the brow of a hill between Wetwang and Norton. All three were from Hull.
A 30-year-old male passenger in the Focus who was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries remains in hospital and is recovering, and a 37-year-old male passenger who was seriously injured, has since been discharged from hospital.
The driver of the Citroen van, a 48-year-old man from Pickering who was taken to York Hospital, was discharged from hospital shortly after the collision.
An inquest into the deaths has been opened and adjourned.
