A SPECIAL “live” Nativity is coming to Malton on Thursday.
Canon John Manchester will tell the beginning of the Christmas story in the Market Place outside St Michael’s Church, at 6pm, before Mary and Joseph “journey” by donkey to Malton Methodist Church, in Saville Street, which has been transformed into the stable in Bethlehem.
Tracie Bylo Hitching, production organiser, said: “There will be a contemporary reading of the Christmas story, along with a surprise or two. We are also raising funds for the Holy Family Hospital, in Bethlehem.”
