SCOTT Mike February 17th The snow was deep, the frost was keen On the day that you were born Winter's grip was long and fierce The countryside forlorn But then the birds were singing And bulbs pushed through the ground Spring brought new beginnings And the seasons turned around Those were such very happy days But the years went by too fast We lived and loved without fear Not knowing it wouldn't last So when your birthday comes around And the pain cuts oh so deep We think about those happy days In the special memories we keep All our love always Dad and Mum
