SMITHSON Janet Retired Post Mistress of Burythorpe Laterley of Norton. Passed away peacefully at Rockingham House Care Home on Friday 28th April, aged 95 years. A service of Thanks Giving will take place at All Saint's Church Burythorpe on Friday 12th May at 1.30. p.m. Family flowers only please Donations if desired are for the work of All Saint's Church Burythorpe A collection plate will be provided at the service Any enquiries to S C Bainbridge Funeral Directors Tele: 01653 692926Tributes

I knew Janet from 1962 when I became a friend of her daughter Catherine. I visited Janet in Rockingham house but live in Lincolnshire. She was a lovely caring person as was her daughter. Sorry I missed the memorial service but only discovered the news of Janet's passing this August. She will be missed. Elspeth
