KERSHAW Jean Elizabeth 13.11.1936 - 05.01.2023 It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Elizabeth Kershaw announce her death on the 5th of January 2023, at the age of 86. Jean died at home and was active and enjoyed life until the end. Passionate about the arts and music, she gave a lot of her time and talent to local projects, such as helping create the Helmsley Arts Centre and the Helmsley Railbed Project. A kind and generous lady, she will be missed by all. Jean is survived by two of her sons Chris and Jamie, grandsons Oliver, Cameron, Charlie and Louis and brothers Robert and Andrew. The funeral service will be held at the Hambleton Crematorium Maple Park, Skipton Bridge, Thirsk on Monday the 30th of January at 10am, followed by a "Celebration of Life" at the Helmsley Arts Centre from 12h, with food and music.
