SIMPSON Bernard Of Beadlam. Passed away peacefully at home on February 13th 2021, aged 91 years. Beloved husband of Olive, a much loved dad of Malcolm and Brian and a dearly loved father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Due to the current situation a private funeral service will take place at St Gregory's Minster, Kirkdale, on Saturday February 27th, at 1:00pm, followed by a private interment in the churchyard. The cortege will leave Beadlam at 12:40pm and make its way through Beadlam and Nawton to the Church. Bernard was the founder of the Beadlam Charity Tractor Run, so as a mark of respect, anyone wishing to park a tractor at the roadside on route to Kirkdale, please do so in his memory. Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be given for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Parkinsons UK and may be sent c/o Adam Collier Funeral Services, Sawmill Lane, Helmsley, York, YO62 5DQ.
