GRANT Douglas Frank On December 15th, 2020, peacefully in Hospital at Telford, Shropshire, following a short illness, Douglas Grant, PhD, of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, formerly of Pickering, Berwick-upon-Tweed, St. Andrews, Cardiff and Newcastle, aged 97 years. Former Physics Senior Lecturer at the University of St Andrews and Cardiff University. Widower of Pauline, they loved each other dearly, the loving father of Peter, Ian, Gordon, Derek and David and a very dear father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Much loved, Douglas will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Due to the current covid-19 pandemic National emergency, a strictly private funeral service, for invited Mourners only, will be conducted at Telford Crematorium.
