PROUD Joan Audrey Passed away peacefully at Beechwood Place Nursing Home in Malton on December 23rd, aged 91 years. A well known character in Malton, Joan will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A private family funeral will take place at The East Riding Crematorium on Friday January 22nd at 11.30am. The cortege will leave from 2 Old Maltongate at approximately 10.45am and travel over County Bridge and along Commercial Street then onto Scarborough road for anyone wanting to pay their respects at the roadside. Donations in Joan's memory may be given for Age UK c/o Fergus Court Funeral Services. Tel.01653 229021.

Sending my condolences to joans family for the sad passing of Joan ,Joan was a much loved volunteer at age Uk in malton for many years .we had many good times and much laughter in the 20 years I was the manager .Joan was much missed when due to ill health she had to give up her volunteering . I have many happy memories.
