SCAIFE Gordon Ward Gordon of Deansfield Court, Norton (formerly of Almond Tree Avenue) passed away peacefully at York Hospital on November 24th 2020 aged 85 years. Loving husband of the late Joan and a loved dad to Andrew, Paul and Maxine, a granddad and great-granddad. Due to the current situation, a private cremation will take place on Monday, December 14th 2020 at 9.30am at Octon. Family flowers only but donations if desired may be given for MIND. Rest in peace, my old mate. We had some great laughs together, along with the late George 'Bootsy' Pickering who used to call us both 'Warthog'. Joan will be able to keep you straight again and at least you and I won't be able to sneak off on a Saturday afternoon testing cars, only to be ambushed by Joan. Such fond memories.
