TAYLOR Christopher Owen It is with great sadness that we announce that Chris passed away peacefully at Malton Community Hospital after a short battle with cancer. He was 58. Beloved son of the late Harry and Henrietta Taylor. Sadly missed by siblings Ann (Francis), Jackie (Geoff), Harry (Lynne), and Alex (Yvonne), his aunts/uncles, Kathleen (John), Winston (Joan), Marjorie (Bob deceased), his many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews his Croft family, friends and carers in Malton where Chris resided for 30 years. Chris was a self taught linguist and could speak over 20 languages. He enjoyed a pint of beer with a pork pie and loved music, especially that of Nana Mouskouri and Harry Belafonte. The family is very grateful to the staff at Malton Community Hospital for the tender and compassionate end of life care given to Chris, and to the staff and carers at The Croft for their tireless care, friendship and compassion given to Chris, and to Claire and John Carlile his Greengate parents.
