GIBSON James Douglas (Doug) Formerly of Thornton-Le-Dale, passed away peacefully in York Hospital on September 14th 2017 aged 88 years. Beloved husband of Rita, a much loved father of Kathryn and Christine, a dearly loved grandfather of Catherine, Michael, James and Jonathan and a loving great-grandfather of Oliver, Isabel, Leo and James. Funeral service to be held at All Saints Church, Thornton-Le-Dale on Monday, October 2nd at 12.30pm, followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be given for Yorkshire Cancer Research and Church Funds, a plate will be provided at the service.
