PEARSON Norman Wilfred May 24th, 1927, to May 21st, 2017. Norman died peacefully at home after a short illness in hospital. He was the greatly-loved husband of Marjorie and father of Tim. He was a loving grandfather and great-grandfather. After his retirement from training teachers in mathematical education on Merseyside, he enjoyed his later years in Gilling East, working on his land and watching the natural world around him. The funeral will be held at Holy Cross Church in Gilling East at 2.00p.m., on June 1st, followed by the burial. Family flowers only please but donations to Yorkshire Air Ambulance would be welcome.
