ORD Elspeth Formerly of Kirkby Moorside and Harome, North Yorkshire. Passed away peacefully, with her family around her at her home in Beverley, East Yorkshire on March 31st, 2017, aged 92 years. A much loved and devoted wife to the late Bill Ord and a dearly loved mother to Tim and Sarah and mother-in-law to Cecile, also a beloved grandmother to Steven, Rebecca and Emily and great-grandmother to Oliver, a dear sister to her eight brothers and sisters, many now deceased and aunt to her very many nephews and nieces. A Celebration and Thanksgiving for Elspeth's life is to be held at the Haltemprice Crematorium, HU10 6DS on Thursday, April 13th, 2017 at 1.30pm. A Memorial Service is to be held at a later date, yet to be arranged in Washington, Co. Durham where Elspeth was born and grew up. Family flowers only please, but any donations in Elspeth's memory if desired would be gratefully appreciated for the work and support of The Marie Curie Nurses, after the service or c/o F Stephenson & Son Funeral Directors, 29 Minster Moorgate, Beverley, East Yorkshire.
