Pickering Arts presents New Year Cabaret: A Little Light Music And A Few Winsome Chuckles at the Friends Meeting House, Pickering, on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
Ryedale actor Dominic Goodwin and his chums David Pike, Bromwyn Jennison and Mick Scott join forces with pianist Lloyd Lockwood for an evening of music and comedy presented in two distinct halves.
In the first, entitled This And That And Things Gone By, sketches and comedy pieces by Victoria Wood, Flanders and Swann, Jimmy James and Rowan Atkinson sit alongside songs by Jerry Herman and Lerner and Loewe.
After the interval, The Master comes into the limelight in A Celebration of Noel Coward, featuring Mad About The Boy, Mad Dogs And Englishmen, the lesser-known Three Juvenile Delinquents and his Second World War poem Lie In The Dark And Listen.
Tickets are available from Television House and on the door.
