THERE will be a lot of laughs in Whitby this spring when TV funnyman, Josh Widdicombe, brings his hotly-anticipated new tour to the town.
Star of Channel 4’s The Last Leg, Josh will be appearing at The Pavilion Theatre on Saturday, April 12, at 8pm.
After two sell-out UK tours, two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival and releasing his debut DVD recently, Josh is back on tour with his new show Incidentally….
The show deals with his inability to embrace adventure in his life and his continued frustration with everything he comes into contact with.
Unable to relax and enjoy life, Josh has instead decided it is everyone else who is at fault for his lack of enthusiasm for leaving the house.
Josh is fast becoming a TV regular with appearances on Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Live At The Apollo and Stand Up The Week.
He is the second comedian to feature in The Pavilion’s spring line-up with fellow Stand Up for the Week comic, Andrew Lawrence appearing on Saturday, March 8.
Dominic Stokes, of Whitby Pavilion, said: “After sell-out shows such as Chris Ramsey and Mike Harding earlier this year, we are pleased that we already have another two great names of comedy in place for 2014. They are sure to be two great evenings of laughter.”
Tickets for Josh Widdicombe’s show are priced £14 and are available from Whitby Pavilion’s box office on 01947 458899 and via www.whitbypavilion.co.uk
