Bishop Burton College, near Beverley, held its last British dressage competition of 2013, with many of the affiliated riding club competitors taking part.
The Prelim 13 qualifier saw the top six spots all taken by riding club members and the top four slots in the Prelim 14 qualifier.
Amy Small, a junior member of Malton Riding Club, had her first attempt at British dressage on her own five-year-old Triumph Z, and Sally Baker’s mountain and moorland pony, Wellbrow Dewdrop, on which she won the Prelim 14 qualifier.
Denise Newsome, of East Yorkshire Riding Club, said she was really pleased with the outcome of her tests on ex-racehorse Bertie Arms.
