PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AFFECTING A LISTED BUILDING WITHIN A CONSERVATION AREA Application Number: NY/2015/0336/LBC Proposed development at Slingsby Community Primary School, The Green, Slingsby, Malton, YO62 4AA. I give notice that The Corporate Director, Children and Young Peoples Services is applying to North Yorkshire County Council for planning permission for replacement of existing defective coping stones to parapet walls to match existing, form new lead flashings to parapet walls at abutment with pitched and flat roofs areas, repairs to stonework to external elevations, renew defective stone window lintels, jambs and sills to match existing and renewal of existing windows.
In the opinion of the County Planning Authority, the proposal affects Slingsby Community Primary School, The Green, Slingsby, Malton, YO62 4AA, a building which has been listed as of special architectural or historic interest. The part of Slingsby within which the proposed development is situated has been designated a Conservation Area under the above Act as the area is of special architectural or historic interest the character of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance. Members of the public may view the application, the plans, and other documents submitted with the application at Ryedale District Council, Planning Department, Ryedale House, Malton, North Yorkshire during all reasonable hours until 27th January 2016. Please note that this may require a prior appointment. You are advised to check with the Council before making your visit.
