Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion

Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order

Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 North Yorkshire County Council Bridleway No's 25.3/2 & 25.3/6, Straights Lane, Aislaby Diversion Order 2015

The above Order, made on 17 September 2015, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public bridleway described below and modify The Eastern Part of the County of the Former North Riding of Yorkshire Definitive Map and Statement accordingly.
Bridleway No. 25.3/2 running north-east for 500 metres from SE 7770 8756 to SE 7811 8778 will be diverted onto a new route from SE 7770 8756, east along the field edge for 340 metres to SE 7803 8757 where it will join bridleway No. 25.3/6. BridlewayNo 25.3/6 running north for 217 metres from SE 7811 8778 to SE 7814 8800 will be diverted onto the field edge for 253 metres between the same points via SE 7808 8790. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Pickering Library, North Yorkshire until 2 December 2015. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices.
Anyrepresentations aboutorobjections tothe Ordermaybe sentin writing toAndyHunter, Diversions Officer, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire DL7 8AD not later than 2 December 2015. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
