TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH 25.107/7/1, WESTOW) ORDER 2015 NO 316
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)

North Yorkshire County Council has made an Order which is to continue in force, under Section 15(5) of the above Act, the provisions of the Order NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH 25.107/7/1, WESTOW) ORDER 2015 NO 86 made on 01.04.15, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along Public Footpath 25.107/7/1, Westow, Ryedale between grid references SE7600 6678 and SE7574 6678, in the District of Ryedale due to erosion of land adjacent to River Derwent, affecting the footpath including sections of the boardwalk.
The maximum duration of the Order will be from 02.10.15 until 02.04.16 inclusive and it is envisaged that the remainder of the works will be undertaken over this timescale. The closure will be put into effect by notices and signs.
There is no alternative route available.
