PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AFFECTING A LISTED BUILDING WITHIN A CONSERVATION AREA

Proposed development at Slingsby Community Primary
School, The Green, Slingsby, Malton, YO62 4AA.
I give notice that The Corporate Director, Children and Young Peoples Services is applying to North Yorkshire County Council for planning permission for removal of existing PVC gutters, rainwater pipes and hoppers, alter locations of 2 rainwater pipes and replace all with cast iron gutters, rainwater pipes and hoppers. Gutters supported by rise and fall brackets. New surface water gullies and underground pipework into the existing drain and re-pointing the existing rubble stone masonry walls.
In the opinion of the County Planning Authority, the proposal affects Slingsby Community Primary School, The Green, Slingsby, Malton, YO62 4AA, a building which has been listed as of special architectural or historic interest.
The part of village within which the proposed development is situated has been designated a Conservation Area under the above Act as the area is of special architectural or historic interest the character of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance.
Members of the public may view the application, the plans, and other documents submitted with the application at Ryedale District Council, Planning Department, Ryedale House, Malton, North Yorkshire during all reasonable hours until 16 September 2015. The application may also be viewed using the Online Planning Register on the County Council's web-site www.northyorks.gov.uk
