NOTICE OF PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 SECTION 53

Notice is hereby given that an Inspector will be appointed by
the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine
North Yorkshire County Council
The Eastern Part of the County of the former North Riding of Yorkshire Definitive Map and Statement
Public Footpath No. 25.45/16, Helmsley, Ryedale Modification Order 2013 and will attend at:
The Feathers Hotel, Market Place, Helmsley, York,YO62 5BH On Wednesday 2 September 2015 at 10.00am
To hold a public local inquiry into the Order
The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modifications, will be to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding footpath 25.45/16 between SE 6132 8373 on Bridge Street (Point A) with a width of 2 metres, passing beneath the archway between 19 & 21 Bridge Street running east-north-east for approximately 8 metres to SE 46133 48373 (Point B) into Meeting House Court, continuing east-north-east on the south side of Meeting House Court for approximately 49 metres to SE 46137 48375 (Point C). Continuing with a width of 1 metre east-north-east against the south wall of the Helmsley Arts Centre for approximately 19 metres to SE 46139 48375 (Point D) before continuing with a width of 4 metres generally south east for approximately 58 metres to SE 46143 48372 (Point E), then east for approximately 50 metres to SE 6148 8373 (Point F) on Pottergate adjacent to Rye Court.
