HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 116 STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAY
PART OF PROSPECT PLACE, THORNTON-LE-DALE NORTH YORKSHIRE

TAKE NOTICE that North Yorkshire County Council, being the Highway Authority for the County of North Yorkshire, intends to apply to the SCARBOROUGH MAGISTRATES COURT, The Law Courts, Northway, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO12 7AE at 10 am on 3 July 2015 for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, to authorise the stopping up of part of PROSPECT PLACE, THORNTON-LE-DALE, NORTH YORKSHIRE in the District of Ryedale, on the ground that it is unnecessary.
A plan showing the proposed area of highway to be stopped up and a copy of the proposed order is available from Legal Services, County Hall, Northallerton (contact John Purvis - tel: 01609 533822). Copies are also available to view at Pickering Library, The Ropery, Pickering, North Yorkshire, YO18 8DY and may be inspected there free of charge during opening hours.
