THE RYEDALE DISTRICT COUNCIL (LAND WEST OF RICCAL DRIVE AND SOUTH OF STOREY CLOSE, HELMSLEY) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2015 COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND IN HELMSLEY

1. Notice is hereby given that the Ryedale District Council has made the Ryedale District Council (Land West of Riccal Drive and South of Storey Close, Helmsley) Compulsory Purchase Order 2015 under section 226(1)(b) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise Ryedale District Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of securing its availability for development for employment, being a purpose which it is necessary to achieve in the interests of the proper planning of Helmsley. 2. A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at Ryedale House, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 7HH. 3. Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State, National Planning Casework Unit, 5 St Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2PW before 15 May 2015 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
