Notice of the making of a definitive map modification order North Yorkshire County Council Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 The eastern part of the former North Riding of Yorkshire definitive map and statement and the district of Hambleton (outside the North Yorks Moors National Park)

On 19 February 2015, North Yorkshire County Council confirmed the above named Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by deleting footpath 25.85/27 from the definitive map in Terrington parish and adding footpath 25.85/27 to the definitive map in Sheriff Hutton parish. Footpath 10.35/11 will be modified to suit the new alignment of footpath 25.85/27. A copy of the order as confirmed and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Malton Library, YO17 7LJ, North Yorkshire until 22 April 2015. Copies of the Order and Map may be purchased there at a cost of £2.00, or downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices.
The Order comes into force on 11 March 2015, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that anyrequirement ofthe Act, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Schedule 12 to the Act, within six weeks from 11 March 2015, make an application to the High Court.
