NOTICE OF CONFIRMING OF PUBLIC PATH ORDERS HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY FOOTPATH 32 HELMSLEY (REAGARTH FARM) DIVERSION ORDER 2013
On 7 March 2014 the North York Moors National Park Authority confirmed the above Diversion Order under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the footpath leading east through Reagarth Farm towards Riccal Dale onto a new route, one field further north to pass to the north of the farm buildings as shown on the Order map. The Diversion Order came into force on the 13 August 2014. FOOTPATH 32 HELMSLEY (RYEDALE CLOSE) EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2013 On 7 March 2014 the North York Moors National Park Authority confirmed the above Extinguishment Order under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to close the footpath through properties on Ryedale Close and across a field corner to the east. A concurrent Creation Order created a bridleway along a field access track to the south of Ryedale Close, along arable field margins and through Monk Holme Wood to Riccal Dale as shown on the Order map. The Extinguishment Order came into force on the 7 March 2014 BRIDLEWAY 210 HELMSLEY (MONK HOLME WOOD) CREATION ORDER 2013 On 7 March 2014 the North York Moors National Park Authority confirmed the above Creation Order under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to create a bridleway along a field access track to the south of Ryedale Close, along arable field margins and through Monk Holme Wood to Riccal Dale. A concurrent Extinghuishment Order closed the footpath through properties on Ryedale Close and across a field corner to the east as shown on the Order map.The Creation Order came into force on the 7 March 2014. A copy of the above Orders and the Order maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at North York Moors National Park Authority, The Old Vicarage, Bondgate, Helmsley, York, YO62 5BP until 11 March 2015. Copies of the Orders and maps may be purchased at a reasonable cost by contacting Legal Services, Scarborough Borough Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 2HG. If a person aggrieved by the Orders wants to question their validity, or that of any provision contained in them, on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, make an application to the High Court.
