Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion

Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 North Yorkshire County Council Footpath Nos. 10.35/10, 10.35/11 & 10.35/13, Dalby Carr Farm, Dalby-Cum-Skewsby - Diversion Order 2014

The above Order, made on 11 December 2014, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpaths described below and modify The District of Hambleton (Outside the North York Moors National Park) Definitive Map and statement accordingly. Footpath Nos. 10.35/11 & 10.35/13, running for approximately 322 metres between Grid References SE6447 7014 and SE6479 7020 around the south side of Dalby Carr Farm, shall be diverted around the north side of the farm between the same points via SE6452 7024 and SE6469 7032, a distance of 458 metres. Footpath No. 10.35/10 - A 98 metre section shall be stopped up between SE6452 7024 and SE6457 7015 so that the southern end of the path will terminate at its junction with Footpath 10.35/11 at SE6452 7024. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Easingwold Library, North Yorkshire, YO61 3AN until 18 February 2015. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the WACS Admin, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton DL7 8AD at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Ron Allan, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire DL7 8AD not later than 18 February 2015. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
