North Yorkshire County Council
(30 MPH & 40 MPH SPEED LIMITS) (A169, WHITBY ROAD, PICKERING) ORDER 2014

NOTICE is hereby given that on 13 November 2014 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Section 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to:-
(1) Prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed of more than 30 miles per hour on the length of road specified in Part 1 of the following table;

(2) Prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 miles per hour on the length of road specified in Part 2 of the table below; and

(3) Vary Item 3 in Part 1 of the Schedule and Item 4 in Part 2 of the Schedule to "North Yorkshire County Council (30 mph & 40 mph Speed Limits) (A169, Kirkham Lane/High Backside/Whitby Road, Pickering) Order 2008", which relate to the lengths of road specified in the table below.

The Order extends the existing 30 mph speed limit on the A169, Whitby Road, Pickering.

A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 24 November 2014, together with a map showing the road affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Pickering Library, The Ropery, Pickering, North Yorkshire YO18 8DY during normal office hours from 19 November 2014 until 5 January 2015.
