TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH 25.107/7/1, WESTOW) ORDER 2014 NO 409
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)

North Yorkshire County Council has made an Order, which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along Public Footpath 25.107/7/1, Westow, between grid references SE76006678 and SE75746678, in the District of Ryedale due to erosion of land adjacent to River Derwent, which is affecting the footpath including sections of boardwalk. This further closure follows an emergency closure which is due to end on 22.10.14. The maximum duration of the Order will be from 23.10.14 until 01.04.15 inclusive and it is envisaged that the works will be undertaken over this timescale. The closure will be put into effect by notices and signs. There is no alternative route available.
