Notice of making of A Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Public footpath 30.18/8, Church Farm, Reighton Diversion Order 2014
The above Order, made on 21 March 2014, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath described below and modify the Former East Riding now situated within the County of North Yorkshire Definitive Map and Statement accordingly. Footpath 30.18/8. The original line of the path commencing at TA1337 7528, and running generally north-east for approximately 540 metres to TA1371 7564 shall be diverted on to a new line commencing at TA1337 7528, and running generally east for approximately 320 metres along the southern field boundary to TA1365 7527, then north-north-east for approximately 375 metres along a field edge track to TA1371 7564 where it joins footpath 30.18/4. There are kissing gates at each of the field boundaries.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Filey Library, North Yorkshire until 30 April 2014. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton DL7 8AD at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov. uk/pathnotices.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Ben Jackson, Public Rights of Way, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire DL7 8AD not later than 30 April 2014. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
