NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
(WILLOWGATE, PICKERING) AND (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) (BURGATE, PICKERING) ORDER 2014 NO 73 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)

North Yorkshire County Council intends, after at least seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Willowgate, Pickering, and to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along Burgate, Pickering in the District of Ryedale due to the protection of workforce, pedestrians and travelling public during building demolition and construction works.
The maximum duration of the Order will be from 03.03.14 until 04.09.15 inclusive however it is envisaged that the works will be undertaken within an eight month period commencing on 03.03.14. The closure will be put into effect by notices and signs and a local alternative route will be signed on site.
Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times and vehicular access to premises will be maintained whenever possible.
