Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 Regulations 26 and 35 of the Town and Country Planning
(Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 Ryedale District Council Ryedale Plan - Local Plan Strategy Adoption Statement This Statement gives notice that Ryedale District Council adopted the Ryedale Plan - Local Plan Strategy Development Plan Document (DPD) on 5 September 2013. The Ryedale Plan - Local Plan Strategy is the part of the Local Plan for the District. It sets out the long-term vision, objectives and planning strategy for 15 years to 2027. The adoption of the Ryedale Plan - Local Plan Strategy means that almost all of the 'saved' Ryedale Local Plan Polices, adopted in 2002, have now been replaced. The Ryedale Plan - Local Plan Strategy has been subject to an examination by an independent Planning Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State between May 2012 and August 2013. The Inspector's Report was published on the 14 August 2013. The adopted Ryedale Plan - Local Plan Strategy incorporates the Main Modifications that have been recommended by the Inspector and set out in the accompanying appendix to the Inspector's report, and a number of minor Additional Modifications.
Any person(s) aggrieved by the Ryedale Plan - Local Plan Strategy may make an application to the High Court under Section 113 of the Planning and Compulsory Act 2004 on the grounds that:
? the document is not within the appropriate power of the local authority; or

? that a procedural requirement has not been complied with Any such application must be made no later than six weeks from the date on which the Local Plan Strategy was adopted, which commenced on 5 September 2013 and concludes on 17 October 2013.
