TEN Thirsk & Sowerby Harriers runners were among the finishers in the Brass Monkey Half Marathon in York.
Iain Milner led the way, clocking one hour 34 minutes and 45 seconds to finish in 396th place.
Les Sutton-Haigh was timed at 1:36-21, with Alison Calvert the club’s first female finisher in 1:40-44. Veteran Alan Harman was next in 1:41-40, then Ernie Huck in 1:41-57, Helen Ashworth in 1:46-02, Nik Sutton-Haigh in 1:54-51, Judith Seaton in 1:57-45, Yvonne Wood in 2:08-37 and Eileen Howell in 2:13-30. Noel Clough and Pete Wilkin were in cyclo-cross action in a National Points series race at Rutland Water.
Clough finished fifth and was sixth overall in the V40 category, while Wilkin was sixth V50 home and finished fifth overall in that age-group.
In the North Easter League Series at Hetton Lyons, Sunderland, Clough finished sixth and Wilkin was ninth.
