FIREFIGHTERS were on the scene at a car on fire in a North Yorkshire village this morning (October 6).
A crew from York responded to reports of a car on fire in a field on the A166 at Gate Helmsley, at 2.44am.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival crew used one hose reel jet, a foam extinguisher and two breathing apparatus used to extinguish.”
