A PICK-UP truck caught fire at a property in the Moors village of Chop Gate at the weekend.
A fire crew from Stokesley was called to the scene at 7.16pm on Sunday.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue services said that the truck was well-alight on arrival. They extinguished the blaze but the fire caused "100 per cent fire damage" to the truck.
In a busy weekend for the fire service, a fire crew from Malton were called to Rainbow Lane in Malton at 8.42pm on Sunday to reports of play park equipment on fire.
And at around 6pm on Saturday night, the Pickering crew were called to Flamingo Land by a woman who had accidentally locked her baby in her car.
The fire service said: " Fortunately the parents were able to release the child prior to our arrival and our crews were returned."
