Van suffers 80 per cent fire damage
FIRE crews have extinguished a van on fire in northern Ryedale.
A crew from Sherburn station were called to the scene on the A170 near Brompton-by-Sawdon at 10.49pm last night.
The burning van was a Fiat Doblo. Fire services said that 80 per cent of the vehicle was damaged by fire.
They added that the cause of the fire is unknown.
