FOR the second year Badsworth and Bramham Moor Hunt held their point-to-point at Askham Bryan College, near York, on March 26.
The hunt had previously used a course in Ripon, but had to look for an alternative base in 2014.
The mile-long circuit has seven fences and each race consisted of three circuits. Thomas Milburn took these images of the action, which kicked off at midday with two pony races and then a six-race card starting at 1pm.
The results were as follows:
- Confined Hunts race: winner John Dawson on Ian Mason-trained Pertemps Network, nearly the outsider.
- Subaru Restricted race: winner Emma Todd on Andy Nicholls-trained Shabach, first win of two on the day.
- Mens' Open Race: winner was favourite Will Easterby on 14-year-old My Old Piano.
- Open Maiden Race: winner Max Johnson on Zandino.
- Ladies' Open Race: winner favourite and last year's ladies Yorkshire champion Emma Todd on Drom.
- PPORA Club Members' Novice: winner favourite Sean Murray on Opera Og.
